STANDARD HIGH INLET TEMPERATURE
Why treat compressed air?
- Wet, dirty air costs money.
- Air lines rust and leak.
- Air tools lose power, require more maintenance & repair.
- Paint does not adhere properly or the finish is contaminated requiring expensive rework.
Where does the water come from?
Atmospheric air always contains some moisture. When air is compressed, its ability to hold water is greatly reduced and
the excess water condenses out as a liquid. The temperature at which
the water begins to condense out is called the Dew Point. As air cools
below the dew point it will continually condense more and more water.
Remember...
A 10HP compressor could easily condense out 10 gallons of water a week.
